We cannot guarantee to be able to help everyone but you have nothing to lose by getting in touch to see if we can…All enquiries are completely confidential and you will get a reply quickly.

Is far more than just a service that provides representation at work when you need it. We are committed to empowering workers to make the changes and improve their working lives through collective action. We stand together!
Empower the Workers’ Union is run by members to support each other in solidarity.
Membership brings you together with workers just like you who share a belief that only by standing together can we demand fairness and justice in the workplace.
You will be supported in your workplace to get together with colleagues and empowered to demand change where you work. We are an organising union.
Get involved
Members run the union, and that means people just like you getting stuck in. You’ll be invited to meetings to have a real say in what the union does. You will be able to link up with workers in your sector from around the country; gain support and the guidance and training you need to begin to make a difference in your workplace no matter what you face.
Larger established unions often disappoint; when you can’t find a rep when you need one and when you have no say in what the union says or does it can leave you wondering what is the point?
Empower the Workers’ Union is its members and we believe that every member is a crucial part of everything we do; because whatever we do we do it together!
The union in your workplace
75% of workers in the UK are not in a trade union. The result is that bosses are getting away with doing whatever they want and you are wise to keep your head down lest an excuse is found to push you out. Workers live in fear.
Empower the Workers’ Union knows that when workers get together to form a union in their workplace that changes. We are not asking for the world; but we are demanding to be paid fairly and treated fairly!

Time is up for inadequate pay rises, for workers having to rely on statutory sick pay, for bullying by managers and for excessive workload.
Time is up for bosses who fire and re-hire and pretend that it is ‘redundancy’.
Time is up for discrimination at work.
It is time for you to get what you deserve and it is time for you to find out what being part of an active campaigning union can do for you and your colleagues!
